The Charleston Bee Company is family owned and operated by husband and wife beekeepers, Tiffany and Justin Buckley. The Charleston Bee Company is the newest addition to their Cypress Farms Business, established in 2017. In addition to pumpkins, eggs, fireworks and firewood with Cypress Farms, they now offer honey and bee related products with The Charleston Bee Company. Natives to Charleston and passionate about saving bees, they have a variety of plants, trees and flowers near their hives, increasing pollination. Bees are essential to our food supply chain. Beekeeping is our passion

We love what we do. Nothing excites us more than stepping outside to see our bees busy pollinating. Bees truly are magnificent creatures- doing double duty to keep flowers and plants pollinated and fruiting as well as providing a golden sweet nectar for us humans to enjoy. Getting to witness that first hand and bring local honey to you, our neighbors, brings us joy!

Importance of bees in our ecosystem

Honeybees play such a vital role in our ecosystem. They are integral to the existence of so many plants, the flourishing of nature, and health in humans. Without bees, there would be a huge disrupt in our food supply chain. Many people don’t realize how many of our foods require honeybees to pollinate each plant in order for it to produce the myriad of fruit, veggies and grains we enjoy. Bees are social creatures, caring for family and working hard to nourish the hive. You can aid in preserving bees and therefore so much of our ecosystem by planting pollinator friendly flowers.

Tiffany and Justin Buckley, owners of Cypress Farms, have had years of experience serving the Lowcountry. From painting services to Christmas trees, fireworks to fresh eggs, the Buckleys enjoy providing local products & services to the area. Honey is their newest addition and The Charleston Bee Company is buzzing with excitement!
